How to Find Backlink Opportunities ?

Add the site you want to check to Site Explorer.

On the side tool bar, click on Backlink Gaps under Backlinks.

A new window will open up for you to fill in the URL of your competitors. Then, click on the Find Backlink Opportunities button.

You will get a list of the referring domains for the sites you entered and under Matches an indication of how many of the sites have matching referring domains. You will also see the numbers of backlinks that each site has on each referring domain.

If you hover over the number under each site, you will see a "+" sign which you can click on to see more data, such as the Source URL, Citation Flow, Trust Flow, Target URL, First Indexed Date and Last Seen Date.

To find backlink opportunities, look for domains where your competitors have backlinks on but you do not, check what type of links they are, and take action.

At the bottom of the results list, you will see a Link Intersection Graph and Table.
