How to add backlinks to Backlinks Manager?

Go to Backlinks Manager, which is located under the Site Management section, in the TOOLS menu.

You will see a list of sites that you have added in Site Manager. You can read more about how to add a site to Site Manager here.




Select the site that you want and you will be taken to an overview report of the backlinks for that site. Click the blue + button located at the top right to add backlinks.



Add your backlinks.

If you don’t know what backlinks you should add, you can use the Fetch top links function. This will fetch a list of the top backlinks for the site which you can then select from.

You also have the option to upload a CSV file, for example, if you have downloaded a list of backlinks from a 3rd party service.

You can even add a tag to the backlinks, or select an existing tag. This will make it possible for you to filter you backlinks by tag.



The next step is to confirm your backlinks. The system will tell you whether it found the backlinks or not. Here you can change the "Publish Date" and there is also an option to add the target page as an inner page in Site Manager, if you haven’t done so already. If everything looks good, click on Add Backlinks.




The backlinks will then be added to Backlinks Manager. Note that on some occasions, it is possible that our system might not be able to find your backlinks, for a variety of reasons. For example, the site the backlink is on was down or there is a firewall in place that prevents our system from crawling the page and finding the backlink.
